Switch Matrices
Every automatic test system (ATE) uses one or more switch matrices
to route signals between the test equipment and the UUT. A switch
matrix allows multiple measurements to be made, 1) with a single
connection, and 2) automatically. The switch matrix can also provide
signal conditioning for the test system.
Since both the stimulus and response signals must pass through
the switch matrix, the characteristics of the matrix signal paths
directly affect the accuracy and integrity of all measurements.
It is impossible to design a switch matrix that does not degrade
the signal. However, the switch matrix can be optimized
for a specific application, thereby minimizing signal
degradation for the principal operating condition in that application.
SenarioTek’s expertise in developing,
engineering, manufacturing, and testing RF and microwave instrumentation
is unique. Altogether our engineers possess over 30 years experience
in RF/microwave switch and switch matrix design. We provide high quality,
high reliability switch matrices to you at a justifiable cost.
SenarioTek designs your switch matrix based
on your specific application. If your application doesn't fit
our standard platform, we will not try to press your solution
into it. Instead, we will shape an appropriate solution by working
as an extension of your design team. Our engineers get
engaged at the early stages of your project to give you the maximum
benefit of our expertise.
SenarioTek does much more than simply package
your switches and components. We design using simulation tools
to predict and optimize the performance of your entire test platform
from prototype through manufacture to test. All switch matrices
include full documentation.
